Checking Out Library Materials

Students must have a current CSC identification card to check out materials. Most circulating materials are checked out for 3 weeks (7 working days in the summer) and may be renewed. Videos may be checked out for 1 week. There is a 5 title limit per person. Reference and reserve materials, magazines and audiovisual materials other than videos may not be checked out. Portions of these materials may be copied for personal use. See Copyright Policy.

Reserve Materials

Reserve Materials are located behind the Circulation Desk and are for use in the Library or Service Center only. Viewing areas are available to preview reserved videos.

WebVoyage Online Catalog (http://csc.library.okstate.edu)

Students can access the resources of both campus locations via WebVoyage, the online library management system. Muskogee campus students can access materials from the Warner campus library by filling out available request forms from the Service Center's Circulation Desk. Requests are filled within 24-48 hours.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Students, faculty and staff may request books, articles and other materials from other libraries by filling out an Interlibrary Loan Request available at the Circulation Desk. Most requests take 7-10 days to fill.

Fines

The fine rate for books and hardcopy materials is 10˘ per day and videos are 50˘ per day. Fines may be paid at either library location.

Holds

Student records are placed on hold until materials are returned or fines/damages paid (in case of lost, damaged or stolen materials). Transcripts are not issued until the hold is removed. There is a $20 processing fee per item.

Other

Children under age 17 are welcome in either campus location when accompanied and continuously supervised by a responsible adult.

Computers are available for student use in the LLC. The computers are to be used primarily for academic or educational use. Please read the Computer Use Policy.

Many of the services offered by the Library Learning Center may also be found in a branch library of the Eastern Oklahoma District Library System or Southeastern Oklahoma Public Library System.
